Trinigy Announces New Version of Vision Game Engine

Trinigy GmbH, a market-leading company in the field of 3D game engines, today announced the release date for the newest version of the Vision Game Engine. On the 30th of November, the development kit with the version number 4.5 will be shipped to customers all over the world.

The new Vision engine is based on a largely re-written rendering core, which significantly betters its predecessors both in terms of performance and flexibility. Furthermore, Trinigy’s new technology provides advanced resource management, support for the OpenGL high-level shading language, and new exporter plugins for 3D Studio MAX 7 and Maya 6.

"The new evolutionary step of the Vision engine represents an important milestone in the development of our technology", says Trinigy’s managing director, Dag Frommhold. "We have managed not only to further improve Vision's speed and feature set, but also to maximize its adaptability to very specific technological requirements. This makes Vision an ideal middleware solution also for technologically highly demanding AAA titles."

Trinigy plans to further increase its market share with the newest version of the Vision technology. The versatile game engine is already used in a broad range of diverse game projects including first person shooters, strategy games, action games, and massively multiplayer online titles.

Vision Game Engine

TrinigyIs cutting-edge Vision 3D game engine is used in a number of professional game titles currently in development, helping game creators to bring more immersive graphics onto the screen while at the same time drastically reducing development time and effort. Among the games developed with the Vision engine are Desperados 2 - Cooper's Revenge (Spellbound Studios/Atari, www.spellbound.de), Psychotoxic (NuclearVision GmbH, http://www.psychotoxic.com), Gotcha! (Sixteen Tons Entertainment/Take 2, http://www.sixteentons.com), Emergency 3 (Sixteen Tons Entertainment/Take 2, http://www.sixteentons.com), and Back to Gaya (4Head Studios, http://www.4head.de).
