On the heels of announcing the blockbuster in-game soundtracks for Madden NFL 2005 and FIFA Soccer 2005, Electronic Arts today revealed the line-up of songs that will be featured in this holiday's top EA SPORTS titles. Featuring new tracks from the hottest names in rock, hip-hop, punk and pop, the music in NBA LIVE 2005, NHL 2005 and NASCAR 2005 CHASE FOR THE CUP will have players dribbling, skating and racing harder than ever before.
The songs in the games are selected by EA TRAX -- the music initiative that EA debuted in 2001. The program is dedicated to bringing gamers today's best music through EA's videogames.
"If you want the most exhilarating mix of new music this fall, turn off your radio and turn up your game console," said Steve Schnur, Worldwide Executive of Music and Audio at EA. "The hottest names in rock and hip hop are all 'in the game'. Today, EA SPORTS is THE place to discover new music."
Driving to the basket has never been as intense as it is in NBA LIVE 2005. Highlighted by new songs from Will.I.Am, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Murphy Lee., the in-game music line-up for NBA LIVE 2005 gets players' hearts pumping as they take to the hardwood. Slated to ship on October 5 for the PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox videogame system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCube and PC, NBA LIVE 2005 is developed in Vancouver, BC at EA Canada.
